From egg hunts to visits with the Easter Bunny and more, there are so many fun events out there (and so much candy to collect), so let’s hop to it and plan out our celebrations!

Mad Hatter Tea Party

March 30, 11 am—2 pm

Plymouth Meeting Mall, 500 W. Germantown Pike, Plymouth Meeting

 

Meet and greet with Alice and the Mad Hatter at their garden tea party, plus the Easter Bunny! Also, enjoy teacup decorating, games, balloon twisting, a photo station, treats, and more. Reserve your spot online.

Elmo’s Eggstravaganza

April 6—21

Sesame Place, 100 Sesame Road, Langhorne

 

Sesame Place is debuting an all new Easter celebration! Take a photo with the Easter Bunny, find your way through an “egg-venturous” maze, go on an Easter Egg Scavenger Hunt, and join Abby Cadabby for an Easter themed storytime. The characters will be in their Easter best throughout the park, and you can also reserve a meal with the Easter Bunny for even more fun.

Easter Bunny Brunch and Egg Hunt

April 6, 7, 13, 14, 20 and 21; 10:30 am and 12:30 pm
Elmwood Park Zoo, 1661 Harding Blvd., Norristown

 

Choose from three weekends, including Easter Sunday. Each brunch will feature an appearance by the Easter Bunny for a photo op, as well as crafts, admission to the zoo, and a brunch buffet. Guests can also enjoy an Easter egg hunt and animal meet-and-greets. Tickets available online.

GPCC Brunch with the Bunny

April 6, 9—10 am

2910 Jolly Rd., Plymouth Meeting

 

Meet the Easter Bunny, take a picture, enjoy breakfast, and participate in the “egg scramble” at 10 am—bring your own baskets! Kids 2 and under are free with a paying adult. Pre-register to reserve your spot.

Family Fun Day at Lancaster County Farmer’s Market

April 6, 9 am—2 pm

389 W. Lancaster Ave., Wayne

 

The market will host an Easter Egg Hunt with prizes for all ages, special offers from market vendors. and more.

Hayrides to Bunnyland

April 6, 7, 13–20, 11 am — 4 pm
Linvilla Orchards, 137 W. Knowlton Road, Media

 

Hop aboard a hayride as it carries you through the woods to visit the Easter Bunny’s house where you’ll have the chance to meet Linvilla’s Easter Bunny for photos and treats.

Breakfast with the Easter Bunny at Radnor Fire Company

April 7, 9 am—noon

121 S. Wayne Ave., Wayne

 

Hop on in for breakfast with the Easter Bunny and support your local volunteer firefighters and EMS at Radnor Fire Company. All proceeds benefit Radnor Fire and EMS.

Eco-Egg Hunt

April 7, 2 pm (ages 3-5), 2:15 (ages 6-8)
Norristown Farm Park, 2500 Upper Farm Rd, Norristown

 

While the youngest group will have a traditional egg hunt, the older group (ages 6-8) will be challenged to find eggs by following a series of ecological clues hidden in eggs that are in the woods and field, so you can add a little learning to your Easter celebration. Pre-registration by April 4 is required.

Spring Eggstravaganza (Radnor Township Residents Only)

April 7, noon–2 pm
Villanova Stadium, 800 E. Lancaster Ave., Villanova

 

If you live in Radnor Township,  this is the event for you. There will be face painting, bounce houses, crafts, entertainment, and of course the Easter Bunny and egg hunts with prizes.

Family Fun Fridays at Media-Upper Providence Free Library

April 12 and 19, 11—11:45 am

1 E. Front St., Media

 

On April 12, come for Easter themed stories and crafts. Then on April 19, there will be a fun puppet show aptly called “The Easter Egg Hunt.”

Lulu’s Casita’s Easter Fiesta

Flashlight Egg Hunt for Tweens and Teens

April 12, 7:30—9 pm

A flashlight egg hunt through the park after dark for ages 11-16. Prizes include electronics and gift cards! Pre-register online.

The Conservatory at West Laurel Hill Cemetery, 225 Belmont Ave., Bala Cynwyd

 

West Laurel Hill and Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation have again partnered for a fun-filled morning with all proceeds going towards childhood cancer research. Mr. and Mrs. Bunny will be there for pictures, and there will be a massive egg hunt (split up by age so everyone gets plenty of treats) at 11 am. The event will also have crafts, raffles, balloon twisters, caricatures, face painting, and music. $10 per family (for children 10 and under). Online ticket sales end at 3 pm on April 12; walk-ins are welcome. All proceeds go to Alex’s Lemonade Stand.

Easter Party at Media’s Toddler Town

April 13, 9 am—noon

Easter Egg Hunt in Everhart Park

April 13, 10—11 am

401 E. Gay St., West Chester

 

The hunt will begin at 10 am sharp! Get there early to get a photo with the Easter Bunny and enjoy other themed activities. The hunt is for kids ages 2-9.

Easter Egg Hunt at Villa Maria Academy Lower School

April 13, 10 am

Villa Maria Academy Lower School Playground, 280 IHM Drive, Malvern

 

Free community Easter egg hunt for children ages 0-6. Pre-register online.

West Pikeland Township Community Egg Hunt

April 13, 10 am—noon

1645 Art School Rd., Chester Springs

 

Come for an Easter egg hunt for kids ages 10 and under, followed by a magic show. Plus, plant a sunflower seed at the Chester Springs Library’s table, pet bunnies at the Pickering Valley Feed and Farm table, have your face painted at the SALT performing arts table, and visit the Easter Bunny!

Eggs-plorers Adventure Egg Hunt

April 13, 10 am—noon

Harriet Wetherill Park, 2642 Butler Pike, Plymouth Meeting

 

Kids age 10 and under can hunt for eggs around the park (limit 8 eggs per child), then redeem eggs for candy and enjoy some crafts and activities. Kids age 2 and under are free.

Easter Egg Hunt in Normandy Park

South Ardmore Betterment Alliance hosts their annual egg hunt for ages 9 and under. After the hunt, stick around and help volunteers with spring planting!

Easter Party at Charming Star Playroom

April 13, 12:30—2:30 pm

Come for an egg hunt, special time and photo opportunity with the Big Bun, music, dancing, and open play. Each child leaves with a basket filled with candy or non-candy favors. Email info@charmingstarplayroom.com to buy tickets in advance.

Narberth Easter Egg Hunt

April 13, 1 pm

The Easter Bunny always makes an appearance at this annual classic, where children are divided into age categories to search for candy-filled eggs in the park. Come early, because the hunt starts at 1 pm sharp, and happens quickly!

Stop by for a free Easter egg hunt in the park.

West Chester Railroad’s Easter Bunny Express

April 13, 14, and 20; noon and 2 pm

230 E. Market St., West Chester

 

Hop on board the West Chester Railroad and take a 90 minute round trip along the beautiful Chester Creek from West Chester to the historic Glen Mills village. The Easter Bunny will be on board the decorated train handing out treats to all passengers, and there will be live music as well. Tickets available online.

Shady Brook Farm’s Easter Eggstravaganza

April 13, 14, 18–20; 11 am–4 pm

Take a wagon ride to the “Hunting Grounds” where kids will find 6 candy-filled eggs, get a prize and meet the Easter Bunny. There will also be go-karts, obstacle course, inflatables, a sports challenge, and more!

Hayrides to the Easter Bunny at Highland Orchards

Hop aboard a tractor-pulled haywagon to see the Easter Bunny in his burrow, enjoy an Easter storytime, and get a gift from the bunny himself.

Tyler Arboretum Eggstravaganza

Learn why birds sit on their eggs, how toad and frog eggs float in water and where insect eggs hide in our meadows. Come dressed in your favorite bunny ears or Easter hat and take part in some “egg-scellent” crafts and an Easter egg hunt. Each child will receive a wooden egg to decorate and take home. Kids’ Yoga Workshop with Bunnies

Easter Pug Parade

April 14, 1:30—3:30 pm

The Landing of Collegeville, 1421 S. Collegeville Rd., Collegeville

 

Enjoy raffles, prizes, treats, a photobooth, pug race, Easter costume contest, and of course an Easter Egg hunt (at 2:30 pm). A $5 donation is requested per dog, plus $3 for the egg hunt. All proceeds benefit the Delaware Valley Pug Rescue.

Malvern Borough’s Easter Egg Hunt

Malvern Parks and Rec hosts their ninth annual Easter Egg Hunt. Bring your own baskets!

Bunny Bounces at BounceU

April 16 (Toddler Bounce), April 18 and 19 (all ages)

Enjoy an Easter Egg Hunt with big prizes to be found, a visit from the Easter Bunny, treats, and of course bouncing! On April 16, there will be a Toddler Bounce, and then April 18 and 19 are all-ages Bunny Bounce events. Reserve your spot online.

Easter Party at Village Play Space

The Easter Bunny is coming to VPS! While the little ones hunt for eggs and play, parents can snap photos and enjoy coffee. Pre-register online or on site to reserve your tickets.

Take a ride through the beautiful rural countryside with the Easter Bunny as your conductor, and go on an Easter egg hunt around the station. Book your ticket online.

Bryn Mawr’s Easter Egg Hunt

April 20, 10—11:30 am

Meet the Easter Bunny, hunt for eggs, and get balloon animals, too.  Don’t be late as this hunt goes fast! It is separated by age groups: ages 1-4 at 10 am, ages 5-8 at 10:45 am, and ages 9-11 at 11:15 am.

Ellis Egg Hunt

April 20, 10 am—noon

Ellis Athletic Center, 3819 West Chester Pike, Newtown Square

 

Hunt for eggs on the beautiful Ellis Preserve, plus enjoy moonbounce, crafts, food, and bunny photobooth. Hunt is at 10 am for little ones and 10:15 am for “big bunnies.” Free, but reserve your spot online.

Media Easter Egg Hunt And Lunch

April 20, 11 am — 1:30 pm

The Easter Egg Hunt will start at 11 am on the grounds of the Community Center by the Tot Lot. The annual Easter Luncheon with the Easter Bunny will be held immediately following the hunt from 11:30 am–1:30 pm in the Community Center with food, fun, and games for everyone.

High Tech Egg Hunt at Tyler Arboretum

April 20, 9:30—11:30 am and 1—3 pm

Eggs are hidden all over the arboretum and you’ll need to use a GPS to find them! Crack a secret code and decipher riddles to unlock hints that will help you on your adventure. Borrow a GPS unit or bring your own. Suitable for ages 4 and up. Register online for your desired timeslot.

Ardmore Business Association’s Egg Hunt

April 20, 11 am—12:30 pm

Meet in Schauffele Plaza, 99 Cricket Terrace, Ardmore

 

Meet at Schauffele Plaza to pick up a map, hunt for eggs in stores throughout Ardmore, ride the shuttle to Greenfield Avenue and Suburban Square. Meet at McShea’s for prizes and food at the end of the Easter Egg Hunt.

Easter Cupcake Decorating at Sur la Table

Kids (ages 8 and up) and adults will practice baking and frosting a pair of Easter-inspired cupcakes. Then you’ll break out piping bags to customize your treats and make edible carrot decorations. Space is limited; pre-registration required.

Easter Weekend at Longwood Gardens

Easter Weekend is a perfect time to visit Longwood Gardens and celebrate spring. There will be live music in the Conservatory in the afternoons, and Easter specials at the onsite restaurant.

The Great Easter Egg Hunt

Search for 7,000 eggs at Liberti Church’s free community egg hunt! The hunt begins at 10:30 am, Easter service follows at 11 am. Collection bags and refreshments provided.
