Chester County Pride Festival on the Main Line

Pride Month is celebrated each June with rainbow-themed parades, festivals, and special events in recognition of the LGBTQIA+ community. From diverse shopping experiences, to flag raising ceremonies by local governments, to vibrant Festivals, the Main Line has a plethora of opportunities for celebration, education, and fun this Pride Month.

Main Line Events

The Main Line offers many Pride-themed events for families to enjoy local art, food, and community. These events celebrate diversity and welcome both LGBTQIA+ individuals and allies to show their support this June.

Swarthmore Pride Market

Gallery on Park, 4 Park Ave., Swarthmore
June 1, 2025, from 1:00 – 4:00 pm

The Swarthmore Pride Market offers the community an open-air shopping experience featuring 20 unique vendors. Visitors can browse distinctive creations from local artists, connect with community groups, and enjoy tasty treats from food concessions. The market proudly showcases and supports businesses that are LGBTQ+ owned and operated. All proceeds from this community gathering directly benefit LGBTQ+ community support initiatives.

Pride Flag Raising Ceremony in Montgomery County

Montgomery County Courthouse Lawn, 2 E. Airy St., Norristown
June 2, 2025, from 10:00-11:00 am

Montgomery County invites families to a Pride Flag Raising Ceremony on the Montgomery County Courthouse Lawn in Norristown. This meaningful ceremony brings together county officials, local leadership, and community members to celebrate inclusivity and diversity. Attendees will hear personal stories from county leaders and officials as they share what Pride means to them. This event provides a chance for parents and children to experience local government engagement, while supporting LGBTQ+ visibility in Montgomery County.

Pride Month Crafternoon

Gladwyne Library, 362 Righters Mill Road, Gladwyne
June 4, 2025, from 3:00-5:00 pm

The Gladwyne Library celebrates Pride Month with an engaging afternoon activity for young creators. Children are invited to visit the Junior Room between 3:00 and 5:00 pm to craft their own rainbow wands. The library will provide all the materials needed for little ones to express their creativity. This drop-in craft session offers families a perfect opportunity to engage in Pride Month celebrations through art and imagination.

PrideFest Chester County

Bridge Street, Phoenixville
June 7, 2025, from 12:00-5:00 pm

Chester County’s PrideFest transforms Bridge Street in Phoenixville into a colorful celebration of love, diversity, and community. Families can enjoy all-ages activities like live music, art, Drag Queen performances, and over 175 diverse vendors. Kid’s Court offers magic shows and crafts like sand art and bracelet-making. PrideFest 2025 adds the Rainbow Shuttle for easier parking. This event is a great chance to experience Chester County’s vibrant Pride community.

Delaware County Pride Festival

Upper Darby Township Building, 100 Garrett Road, Upper Darby
June 14, 2025, from 1:00-6:00 pm

Delaware County’s largest annual Pride celebration returns on Saturday, June 14th. At this vibrant festival, families can explore over 130 vendors showcasing LGBTQ+ businesses, artists, and organizations. The event offers live entertainment, cultural food, and family-friendly activities to make Pride inclusive for all. Delco Pride Festival celebrates the local LGBTQ+ community’s diversity and joy, creating lasting memories for families.

Teen and Tween Kindness Rocks

West Chester Public Library, 415 N. Church St., West Chester
June 17, 2025, from 3:30-5:00 pm

Chester County teens and tweens can celebrate Pride Month at the West Chester Library’s Rock Painting event. They’ll create rocks with messages of acceptance to keep or share around the community.
