Juneteenth Family Celebration

Celebrate Juneteenth with the Woodmere Art Museum on June 15th, featuring art, storytelling, and performance. This is a free, all ages event.
Art & Storytelling at 2 pm:
Listen to storybooks that deepen children’s understanding of Juneteenth and create Flags of Freedom in a follow-up art activity.
Juneteenth Performance at 3 pm:
TAHIRA: storyteller, poet, vocalist, and musician
Juneteenth, also known as Freedom Day, is a holiday celebrating the freedom of enslaved people at the end of the Civil War. Enjoy an interactive performance with TAHIRA, who shares stories of resilience and songs of courage that honors the legacy of Juneteenth.
