The Annual Fourth of July Celebration, which has been sponsored by the Neighborhood Club of Bala Cynwyd since 1916, is one of the oldest and most popular Independence Day events on the Main Line.
The festivities include a parade, beginning at 9:00 am, followed by a patriotic ceremony at 10:30 am at Bala Cynwyd Playground, and then a celebration with music, pony rides, petting zoo, exotic animals, a rock wall, and refreshments.
Parade Route
The parade will begin at 9:00 am at the Union Fire House at 149 Montgomery Avenue in Bala Cynwyd. After leaving the Fire House, the parade will travel East on Montgomery Ave to Bryn Mawr Ave; South on Bryn Mawr Ave to Union Ave; East on Union Ave to Bala Ave; North on Bala Ave to Montgomery Ave; East on Montgomery Ave to Llandrillo Road; East on Llandrillo Road to Bala Cynwyd Playground.
