Main Line Parent Community Calendar
9th Annual Delco Turkey Trot in Wallingford
Join the BIGGEST Thanksgiving Day 5K in Delaware County, now in its 9th year, at the Delco Turkey Trot. This event is a family-friendly tradition that benefits the Nether Providence Elementary School PTO—with 100% of proceeds going directly to support students at NPE.
Race Options:
- 5K Road Race – for runners, walkers, and families
- 1 Mile Little Drumstick Run – perfect for younger participants
- Strollers are welcome!
- Please, no pets on the course.
Race Day Schedule:
- Little Drumstick Run – 8:30 AM
- 5K Road Race – 9:00 AM
- Be sure to arrive early to allow time for parking and bib pick-up!
T-Shirts:
- Register by October 31st to guarantee your official race t-shirt!
- Youth and adult sizes available. No shirts are guaranteed after 10/31.
- All registrants receive a race t-shirt at no additional cost—but if you’d like to maximize your impact, you can choose to donate your shirt back to help us raise even more funds for the students at NPE.

October 1 – October 31:
- Adults (13+): $35
- Kids (12 & under): $20

November 1 – November 23:
- Adults (13+): $40
- Kids (12 & under): $25
→ No shirt guaranteed

Parking Info:
- Moore Rd. will be closed – please use Media Parkway or Georgetown Rd.
- Limited parking at the school; overflow at Creekside Swim Club (half a block away on Moore Rd.)
- Street parking is allowed in non-course areas — please respect neighbors (no grass or driveway parking)
- If you can, carpool, walk, or get dropped off
