Hadi Sumoro provides modern music training for Piano, Electric Piano, and Hammond Organ. With over 15 years of experience in performance and teaching, Hadi has developed a comprehensive modern music curriculum to teach contemporary music concepts effectively. Hadi happily welcomes students of all levels, starting as young as six, and customizes lessons for those who are non-beginners or advanced learners.

Hadi had been teaching my boys piano for many years. Thanks to his guidance, both of them have reached a level where they can easily play any piece of music just by looking at the sheet. My older son plays piano whenever he finds a spare moment. For him, piano has become lifelong skill that brings him joy. It seems that Hadi also taught them to enjoy music. Of course, there were times when my sons did not always practice as they were told, but Hadi was patient, kind, and thorough in his teaching- while also being firm when necessary. We are truly grateful! We feel so lucky to have had to know him!

My son got a piano lesson with Mr Sumoro as a beginner. My son was nervous at the very first meeting but thanks to the teacher’s gentle encouragement and approach to him, he is now enjoying playing the piano with him.
I highly recommend this teacher for young kids !!!

Hadi is kind, patient, passionate, and diligent in the instruction of piano. I started piano lessons as an adult and have had multiple teachers. He taught me what being fluent in an instrument is really like, and opened up a whole new world of jazz, blues, and rock music to me. He is professional, timely, friendly, and patient. Hadi is amazing! I have been working with him for over 5 years now. Both my high school aged son and I have worked with him and he is super professional and really a top-notch instructor. He has taken me as an adult learner who could read sheet music, to “advanced” and able to play all sorts of music. He is kind and attentive and understands the needs of an adult student. He took my high school aged son (who was a complete beginner) and was able to get him playing and reading music quite quickly. We both enjoyed his demeanor and the consistency of approach.
I highly recommend Hadi to anyone who wants to increase their piano skills. He is a very talented musician and an excellent instructor.
