The most dedicated teachers that know how to keep kids engaged in music from elementary to high school. My daughter still makes time to meet her piano teacher for coffee when she is home from college bc of the bond they developed. Many boys drop music lessons as they become consumed by High School sports but my 17 year old son makes sure to find a window each week for piano lessons. Sarah his instructor (and Crescendo founder) is basically a member of the family at this point. Crescendo is a special place and I wholeheartedly recommend them to any family looking for musical instruction! An example of her dedication is when my son broke all of the bones in his dominant forearm. He was devastated to not be able to have a “normal” active summer. Sarah found him a challenging, complex piece that required only his left hand. Not only did it give him something to focus on while healing it also made him a much stronger pianist by requiring him to develop his non dominant hand. Sarah is a gem!
