Corina’s journey into the world of behavioral health and community support is deeply personal. “Growing up, my mother — born in Ecuador and raising me as a single parent — instilled in my heart culture, strength, positivity, resilience, and the belief that anything is possible as long as we work for it,” Corina shares. Additionally, her brother’s struggle with his mental health profoundly shaped her dedication to mental health advocacy. “The support he received was life-saving, and our family’s gratitude for that support fuels my motivation to help other families navigate similar challenges.”

This personal connection drives Corina’s relentless dedication to her work, ensuring every effort is aimed at creating meaningful change and support for those in need.

Overcoming Obstacles with Grace

Throughout her career, Corina has faced numerous obstacles, particularly in establishing new programs in diverse cultural settings. Her experiences in China and Spain taught her the value of adaptability, cultural sensitivity, and proactive problem-solving. “I leaned on my communication skills, empathy, and perseverance to build strong relationships and understand the unique needs of each community,” she explains.

One of Corina’s proudest achievements was establishing the Ardmore and Malvern Fusion campuses, which quickly became top-performing locations in the USA. This success not only demonstrated her leadership abilities but also highlighted the positive impact these campuses had on students and their families.

Corina’s commitment to lifting others is evident in her mentorship efforts. “One mentee, in particular, has gone on to create a non-profit of her own, supporting neurodiverse students on their way to college and beyond,” Corina proudly shares. “She attributes my coaching to helping her gain the courage and insight to create the organization.”
