Father’s Day is coming up on June 16, and whether you want to celebrate the dads in your life or enjoy some quality time with your kids, there are so many ways to celebrate. Here are some special events around town to make your day memorable.
Father’s Day Stories and a Craft

Father’s Day Weekend Fan Fest at Sesame Place

Treat Dad to a sports fan fest at Sesame Place! Put on your favorite team’s jersey and head over to the Father’s Day Fan Zone and play cool games, rock out to your favorite sports jams, and meet mascots and icons from your favorite teams. Plus, you can sign up for a special character dine with the Phillie Phanatic!
Father’s Day Mini Sessions at Ivory Tree Portraits

Riverbend staff will help you set up your tent, build the campfire, provide the food, and lead a nighttime program for the whole family. Pre-register online.
Fathers Fish Free at Linvilla Orchards

Dads fish free with paid child’s admission. Plus, you can stay to pick your own fruit, with a hayride to the picking fields. And be sure to stop by the Beer Garden, too!
Father’s Day at Chatter Splatter

FatherFest at American Helicopter Museum

This annual Father’s Day event is an exciting day featuring antique cars and motorcycles, food trucks, a beer garden, sports-oriented inflatable games, helicopter rides ( at an additional cost), and more.
Kids’ Crafts at Terrain

Father’s Day Challenge

Ages 5-7 years with an adult will compete in pairs in 10 challenges to win the Father’s Day Trophy! Challenges include water balloon toss, spoon relay, relay burlap sack race, and more.
The Rock and Roll Playhouse: Grateful Dead for Kids!

Dad’s a Champ! Rocky and Creed Marathon at the Colonial Theatre

The ‘Daring Dad’ Scavenger Hunt
June 16, 2 pm
Norristown Farm Park, 2500 Upper Farm Road, East Norriton
Bring Dad to the park for a challenging nature scavenger hunt. He’ll have to follow a series of clues to find the items or answer questions (families are welcome to help him in the quest), and win prizes. The event is free, but pre-registration is required.
