Fourth of July Party for Preschoolers

The Ridley Park Public Library is hosting an Independence Day Party just for the preschool set. Children are invited to sing, dance, craft, and enjoy some snacks at this celebration of the Stars and Stripes. Please note that this event is at the little library near the Ridley Park Borough Hall, which will also have parking available for the celebration. Registration for each attending child is requested.
Good Neighbor Day and July 4th Run for Life in Downingtown
Kerr Park, 1 Park Lane, Downingtown
July 4, 2025, from 8 am – 10 pm
Downingtown’s Good Neighbor Day features plenty of family-friendly Independence Day fun. Lace up your sneaks for the event’s Run for Life race benefitting Downingtown emergency service providers, with a Kids K Fun Run option. Then, get ready for some fun at the Annual Brandywine boat races, cheer on your contestant in the Mighty Duck Race, or test your creativity in the patriotic Bike Decorating contest. Finally, enjoy the talents of local residents at the Downingtown’s Got Talent show and end your night with a fireworks display.
Garrett Hill-Rosemont July 4th Parade and Celebration

July 4, 2025 from 9:30 am – 1 pm
Don’t miss out on a long-standing patriotic tradition at the Garrett Hill-Rosemont July 4th Parade and Celebration. This local event begins with a bike and float decorating contest at the Rosemont Business campus, followed by a parade starting at the corner of Conestoga and Williams Roads. The parade typically lasts for about an hour and winds its way to Clem Macrone Park. Finally, the day concludes with a celebration in the Park complete with games, refreshments, and fun.
Narberth July 4th Family Fun and Fireworks
Narberth Park, 80 Windsor Ave., Narberth
July 4, 2025 from 10 am – 10 pm
Narberth’s July 4th Family Fun and Fireworks celebration is about as classic Americana as it gets. The day begins with the Pledge of Allegiance followed by the opening of the Narberth Carnival at 10:00 am. There, residents can participate in kiddy races, field games, and foul shot and pie eating contests. While the Carnival closes at 1:30 pm, the fun kicks back off with food trucks opening at 6:30 and live music beginning around 7:15 pm. Narberth saves the best for last as the town fires off an impressive fireworks display around 9:00 pm.
Fourth of July at the Colonial Pennsylvania Farmstead

July 5, 2025, from 11:00 am – 3 pm
Want to experience a unique, educational, and patriotic celebration of the nation’s founding? Drop by the Fourth of July Celebration at the Colonial Pennsylvania Farmstead. Visitors can listen to vigorous debates over the fight for independence, become a signatory to the Declaration of Independence, or observe a militia muster. Visitors can engage in 18th Century farm chores such as candle dipping, hearth cooking, quill writing, and gardening. While this event runs until 3:00 pm, the final admission is at 2:00.
