Each year on the third Sunday in June, we celebrate the fathers and father-figures in our lives. Established as a national holiday in 1972, Father’s Day provides the perfect time to recognize dads and the role of fatherhood in our families.

Father’s Day Mini Maker Event at the Tredyffrin Library

Little ones can get creative and crafty in preparation for Father’s Day at the Tredyffrin Library’s Mini Maker event. This program will include a Father’s Day-themed read aloud as well as a special craft project for children ages 3-6 with a caregiver. Registration is required and the event will be held in the library’s Makerspace.

Father’s Day Weekend at the Chester County Balloon Festival

Willowdale Steeplechase, 101 E. Street Road, Kennett Square
June 13-15, 2025, hours vary each day

For a unique, outdoor Father’s Day weekend experience, bring your dad to Kennett Square for the Chester County Balloon Festival at Willowdale Steeplechase. Beyond watching the colorful hot air balloons launch and experiencing the nightly balloon glows, the Festival offers both tethered and untethered balloon rides, food and beverage vendors, a Kids Zone, live music, interesting demonstrations, and even a Touch-a-Truck experience on Saturday. Free parking is available. No dogs or outside food and drink are permitted.

Father’s Day DIY Spice Rub at Terrain Glen Mills

Spice things up for dad this Father’s Day with a DIY spice rub event at Terrain Glen Mills. Participants will measure, mix, and pour spices into glass jars to create a unique spice rub perfect for gifting to dad. Reservations are not required for this event, but parents are expected to stay and participate with their child.

Father’s Day Brunch Gala at Amada Radnor

June 15, 2025, from 11:30 am – 2:30 pm

Treat dad to a meal fit for a king at the Father’s Day Brunch Gala at Amada Radnor. Dad’s first Bloody Mary will be on the house and he can enjoy a host of sweet and savory selections including bagels, pastries, fresh fruit, meats and cheeses, and smoked fish followed by his choice of a second course. Make sure to reserve your spot in advance.

Father’s Day Beer Garden on the Brandywine

Brothers Kershner Brewing Co. Beer Garden, 2100 Strasburg Rd., Coatesville
June 15, 2025, from 1:00 – 7:00 pm

Raise a glass to your favorite Main Line dad at Brothers Kershner Brewing Co.’s Father’s Day on the Brandywine. Dads can enjoy a selection of Brothers Kershner’s brews or sample a cider or hard seltzer while checking out the on-site food trucks at the venue’s beer garden. Live music will liven up the scene from 2 – 5 pm and the whole family will be entertained with activities including axe throwing, bounce houses, face painting, and even some beer stein pottery. Entry is free and no reservations are required.

Father’s Day Ice Cream Social

Historic Harriton House, 500 Harriton Road, Bryn Mawr
June 15, 2025, from 1:00 – 4:00 pm

Bring dad to Harriton House in Bryn Mawr for a scoop or two at their Father’s Day Ice Cream Social. Celebrating the historic property’s dairy farm past, this event will include all-you-can-eat Golden Guernsey ice cream as well as the opportunity to play yard games, make a Father’s Day greeting card, explore the property’s grounds, and visit with the resident farm animals. Dads and father figures eat free, and the event is rain or shine.

Nothing Bundt Dad Father’s Day Sweepstakes
