Luxey Little Ones, a distinct baby boutique and design center, is now open on Gay Street in historic Downtown West Chester.  Owner and entrepreneur, Jennifer Poe is thrilled to be bringing her expertise, as well as a host of exquisite baby gear and products, to central Chester County.

Poe, a New Jersey native and mother of four, developed her vision for Luxey Little Ones when she noticed a gap in the local market. Pregnant with her youngest son, she started looking to outfit a nursery with quality furniture, and functional gear that was also beautiful.

When it came to gathering everything she needed Poe said, “I shopped in several big box stores, but always left empty-handed and unsatisfied. When I couldn’t find what I wanted, I knew there must be other moms-to-be in the same situation. So, I decided to open a store myself and that’s when Luxey Little Ones was born”

Jennifer was not new to opening and running a successful business. She got her start when she opened Rittenhouse Home.  Located in Newtown, Bucks County, this interior design build firm includes a curated showroom and a focus on exquisite kitchens. With an already thriving business, and a successful background in interior design, opening a boutique devoted to exceptional quality and personalized service for mom and baby was a natural fit for Poe.

“I’ve put together a highly curated collection of the best items on the market. From expectant moms to grandmothers, Luxey has brought the best in the industry to not just one, but now two convenient locations” shared Poe.

The first Luxey Little Ones store, located just down the street from Rittenhouse Home, opened in October of 2016. When Jennifer and her family recently built a home in the West Chester area, she knew it would be a great town for a second Luxey location.

The West Chester store continues with the same high-end and personable service it offers clients at its flagship store. Clients will find a collection of quality gear, clothing and nursery decor, tailored to ages 0-6, that Jennifer has researched, sourced and vetted.

“With exclusive brands like UPPAbaby, Appaman, and Luna, they are getting the best for their baby” Poe said.

Jennifer, along with her experienced staff, also specialize in creating custom registries for expectant moms. When moms register with Luxey Little Ones, they get a slew of perks, including a Luxey giftcard to help them get started outfitting baby and the nursery.

“We also provide our registrants with a monthly store coupon beginning at birth and continuing through the first year. This gives mom a chance to stock up on must-have items” said Poe. “They also get premier access to limited edition gear and clothing, plus free nursery design services.”
