King of Prussia District presents KOP Restaurant Week and KOP Shops for CHOP now through March 15. This event features discounted prix-fixe lunch and dinner menu options, donation days, and deals from restaurants and retailers all coming together to raise money for Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.

Celebrating a decade of support for Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, the King of Prussia District has so far raised over $360,000 to support life-saving treatment and game-changing research. KOP Restaurant Week has grown over the years, expanding beyond the restaurant industry. Retailers around King of Prussia offer discounts and deals, as well as contribute to raffles that benefit CHOP. In addition, many of the restaurants and retailers in King of Prussia Town Center also participate in the Bock Party for CHOP happening on April 21!

The local community has also gotten involved, furthering the mission and increasing the donations. This year there’s a Facebook Raffle for contestants to win prize packs that include restaurant and retailer gift cards, Upper Merion Area School District is fundraising with a pajama day, and local businesses can pledge a donation through Community Champions for CHOP.

“When we created KOP Restaurant Week ten years ago at the urging of our restaurant community, we had no idea that it would have the impact that it does today,” said Eric Goldstein, President & CEO of King of Prussia District. “We hope that in honor of our 10th anniversary, we will set a new fundraising record for an institution that continues to change the lives of so many in our region.”

Block Party for CHOP

On Sunday, April 21, prepare for a family friendly block party blow-out at King of Prussia Town Center. Main Street closes down so all can run around and enjoy entertainment, carnival games, fire trucks, face painting, raffles, balloon art, and more. Rain date is April 28.

You can visit the KOP District Restaurant Week site for the full list of Fine Dining, Fast Casual Restaurants, and Retailers that are participating this year but here is a quick short list of our faves for families!
