Celebrate Earth Day with a fun new technique! Earth Day Fiber Workshop: Weave with Recycled Materials with fiber artist Elena Gans – Pfister 
Celebrate Earth Day by turning discarded materials into something beautiful. In this creative, hands-on workshop, fiber artist Elena Gans – Pfister will guide participants through the basics of tapestry weaving using a variety of recycled and repurposed materials.
Learn simple weaving techniques while experimenting with texture, color, and pattern. Fabric scraps, yarn remnants, and other found fibers become the building blocks for your own small woven tapestry—proof that sustainability and creativity can go hand in hand.
This workshop is perfect for beginners and curious makers alike. Whether you’re interested in fiber art, sustainable craft, or simply want to try something new, you’ll leave with new skills and a one-of-a-kind woven piece made from materials given a second life.
All basic materials will be provided, but participants are encouraged to bring small recycled textiles, fabric scraps, or fibers they’d like to weave into their piece.
