Main Line Parent Community Calendar
Historic Chadds Ford Days
September 13 @ 10:00 am - 5:00 pm
Come out to Chadds Ford to experience historical demonstrations at the site of a 1777 Revolutionary War battle. Two timed skirmishes will occur at 11:30 am and 3:30 pm both days, as well as a firing demo at 1:30 pm. Re-enactors, camp followers, demonstrators and other historians will be on site all weekend. Live music, food, and beverages will be available. Children will have the opportunity to attend “School of the Soldier” and experience first-hand what it would be like as a member of Washington’s army regiment.
Admission is available at the gate on the day of the event (no pre-sale tickets are available) and is $10 for adults 18 and older and $5 for children 7 – 17. Children 6 years old and younger and CFHS members are free. Leashed dogs are welcome, although owners should be aware of high noise levels. Parking is located in a field adjacent to the Festival on N. Creek Road.
