Friday Social: Life in Color by Nevin Johnson

Colonna Contemporary operates at the intersection of traditional and digital art, representing some of the most innovative talent working today. And they’re super excited to have local legend and photographer Nevin Johnson host their next Friday Social.

Johnson is a Philadelphia-based artist whose work delves deep into the essence of color and is a genuine and personal exploration of the world as he sees it, saturated with life’s vivid hues. In his own words, Johnson eloquently captures his artistic philosophy: “My photography is an exploration of the extraordinary within the ordinary. I believe that every color has a story, and I am dedicated to telling these stories through my lens. I aim to craft dreamlike scenes with my camera, reminiscent of the Impressionist era’s enchanting use of color. With each photograph I create, I hope to offer a moment of tranquility to the world, encouraging others to see and cherish the extraordinary beauty inherent in our world’s colors.”
