DCS Symphony Explorers
September 23, 2024 @ 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm
Delaware County Symphony is hosting a free introduction to symphonic music for school age children, accompanied by a parent or guardian. At each event, the children will learn about a specific orchestral instrument AND have the opportunity to experience part of a rehearsal. The children are invited to sit as part of the orchestra on stage to observe the interactions between the conductor and the musicians. DCS Symphony Explorers takes place on select Monday evenings in the McNichol Art Gallery in the Thomas A. Bruder Life Center Building at Neuman University.
- 6:30 – 7:00 pm: Learn about conducting from our engaging Maestro Sebastian Grand and music to be performed by Delaware County Symphony in concert on Sunday May 5, 2024, 3 pm at Meagher Theater, Neumann University. (For concert tickets: dcsmusic.org)
- 7:00 –7:30 pm: Experience a portion of a live rehearsal of the Delaware County Symphony
