DCS Symphony Explorers
October 2, 2023 @ 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm
Children and their parents or guardians are invited to a free introduction to symphonic music for school age children, sponsored by Delaware County Symphony.
At the event, children will learn about a specific orchestral instrument AND have the opportunity to experience part of a rehearsal. The children are invited to sit as part of the orchestra on stage to observe the interactions between the conductor and the musicians. DCS Symphony Explorers takes place on select Monday evenings in the McNichol Art Gallery in the Thomas A. Bruder Life Center Building at Neuman University.
Schedule for October 2, 2023:
6:30–7 pm: Learn about the percussion instruments and music to be performed by Delaware County Symphony in concert on Sunday October 15, 2023, 3 pm at Meagher Theater, Neumann University. (For concert tickets: dcsmusic.org)
7:00 –7:30 pm: Experience to a portion of a live rehearsal of the Delaware County Symphony playing the Music of Spain.
