4th of July at Elmwood Park Zoo
In celebration of the Fourth of July, Elmwood Park Zoo will again offer free admission for all guests—pre-registration is required for free admission.
The Zoo will also operate with extended hours, remaining open until 8:00 pm. The Zoo will host several Historical Impersonators, with Martha Washington visiting from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm, Benjamin Franklin from 12:00 – 2:00 pm, and Betsy Ross from 1:00 – 3:00 pm.
There will also be a Giraffe Keeper Chat at 11:30 am as well as a Wild Encounters Education program at 11:00 am. Animal greets will take place throughout the zoo during the event, and live music from Tony Alosi will entertain guests from 11:00 am – 2:00 pm.
