World Cafe Live presents: Fandango, a family Bridge Session
World Cafe Live is celebrating International Music Day on June 21st with a free family Bridge Session, an interactive, educational music performance!
Beginning at 10:30 am, families can browse partner organizations’ tables with interactive activities, books, local resources, or take pictures at their paper flower booth after making a paper flower to add to the arrangement!
At 11:30 am the Bridge Session begins with participants getting to hear music and be led in dance from the Son Jarocho and Cumbia traditions. The show will end around 1:00 pm. This bilingual Bridge Session, “Fandango,” is presented by Latin American fusion band Guachinagos, and is recommended for families with children ages 5 and up.
