Columbus Day Valley Forge Park Trolley Tour
Experience the story of the crucial turning point in the country’s fight for independence on a Valley Forge Trolley Tour!
This 90-minute trolley tour departs from the Visitor Center and is led by National Park Service trained tour guides. Tours include stops at the newly expanded Muhlenberg Brigade hut site and the original house that was General Washington’s Headquarters at Valley Forge. Trolley tours are ADA accessible.
Important accessibility notes: The interior of Washington’s Headquarters does not have a wheelchair accessible entrance and only service animals are allowed on board the trolley.
Advance reservations are recommended and need to be made by phone by calling the store at 610-624-5010. Tickets must be picked up in The Encampment Store gift shop at the Visitor Center no later than 30 minutes prior to the tour’s departure. They will release reserved tickets five minutes prior to scheduled tours, so please plan to be on time.
Please note that reservations cannot be made online, and can only be made by calling.
Tours take place at 11:00 am, 1:00 and 3:00 pm.
