Event Series Event Series: Swarthmore Farmers Market

Swarthmore Farmers Market

June 28 @ 9:00 am - 12:00 pm

The Swarthmore Farmers Market is a community-led market that brings fresh, locally sourced food to the Swarthmore Town Center parking lot along with live music, local artists, and kids’ activities. Open every Saturday from May to November with an average of 19 vendors every weekend, this market is a beloved weekend tradition for grocery shopping with the neighbors.

Weekly market vendors include Beechwood Orchards, Berry Patch Produce, Kneehigh Farm, Ironstone Farm, Big Sky Bakery, Kismet Bagels, and Davidson’s Mushrooms.

Rotating vendors coming June 28th are Linden Dale Farm, Hank’s Cinnamon Buns, Fork’d Pierogies, Cheryl’s Southern Style, Taste of Puebla, Unruly Nature, White Rock Bouquets, Cedar Creek Catering, Dave’s Concoctions, Velamen Exotic Plants, Byrsa Olive Oil, and for the first time at market: Curry Bowl ’97 & Buenos Aires Empanadas.

This week’s local artists are House Stuyvesant, and local musicians Art Miron and Todd Fausnacht will be on hand to entertain the crowds. The community tent will have representatives from the Domestic Abuse Project of Delaware County and this week’s kids’ activity is making Pool Noodle Poppers.

The Swarthmore College OneCard is accepted at most vendor stands and PA FMNP vouchers are accepted for fresh fruits and vegetables.
