Summer Solstice Celebration at Riverbend

Celebrate the longest day of the year and the kickoff to summer at Riverbend. Did you know that on the summer solstice the sun makes its longest journey across the sky, making it the longest day of the year? This day has been celebrated by many cultures throughout history and marks the beginning of summer.

Riverbend’s preserve will host a wine garden for the adults, activities for the kids, pretzels and water ice, a bonfire and s’mores, and live music. Groups are welcome to bring a blanket or lawn chair and pack their own picnic dinner, or pre-order a picnic dinner to enjoy when you arrive (optional add-on).

At 8:30pm, everyone is invited to the top of the hill to watch the sunset and officially welcome summer. Riverbend is a proud partner of Leave No Trace. Please remember to pack out what you pack in.

Tickets: $35 per family/group is required for event admission.
