Rally the Troops at Brandywine Battlefield Park
Get ready to be transported back in time at the thrilling Rally the Troops event!
On August 2nd from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm, join a day filled with adventure. Experience what life was like for soldiers at Washington’s encampment at Brandywine Battlefield Park. Meet soldiers, militiamen, and colonial men and women who will bring history to life. Get hands-on and have a blast with kids’ musket drills, musket firing demonstrations, and even recruitment activities for the Continental Army. Don’t miss this exciting opportunity to immerse yourself in history!
Musket Firing Demos: 11:00 am, 12:00 pm, 1:00 pm, and 3:00 pm
Kid’s Musket Drills: 10:30 am, 11:30 am, & 2:00 pm
Tours of their two historic houses are available as well. The Benjamin Ring House Tours (Washington’s Headquarters) will occur at 10:30 am & 1:30 pm. The Gideon Gilpin House Tours will be at 11:30 am and 2:30 pm.
