Philadelphia Folk Festival
A local music fest you can camp out for? Right on! The Philadelphia Folk Festival, an annual tradition for generations of Main Line families, returns to Old Pool Farm this August.
The event brings an eclectic mix of musical performers to multiple stages. You’ll find food and craft vendors, as well as cultural activities set up on-site, plus a designated area just for children attending the Festival. Children can also try their hand at fiddle and folk music with The Great Groove Band on the Martin Stage. This three-day participatory program for school-age children makes folk music accessible to young people who sing or play a (mostly) stringed instrument.
Concert goers are welcome to bring their own picnics, although pets should be left at home. For those camping out, there will be a special preview concert on Thursday night, August 14th.
