Philadelphia Area Girls Exploring Science (PAGES) Mini-Conference at Villanova
Sixth grade girls nominated by their teachers are invited to join PAGES, Philadelphia Area Girls Exploring Science, for a Mini-Conference at Villanova University with Keynote Speaker Cori Dorfmeier, Director of Sample Management at Merck.
The agenda for the day is:
9:00 AM: Registration and Refreshments
9:30 AM: Keynote: Cori Dorfmeier – Director of Sample Management, Merck
10:20 AM: Laboratory Session 1*
11:10 AM: Laboratory Session 2*
11:55 AM: Laboratory Session 3*
12:40 PM: Lunch
1:30 PM: Conclusion
*Laboratory sessions represent a small group hands-on activity led by female scientists.
Please note that teachers must register student(s) for the PAGES mini-conference. Parents are not allowed to sign their children up. Registration is open to 6th grade girls only.
Signed parental consent forms are required to register the students, please upload the signed formed at the time of registration.
