Museum Family Day – Fall Kickoff at the Maguire Art Museum
Start off the season with art, creativity, and fun at the Maguire Art Museum.
See and interact with new works by artists Maria Dumlao and Julianna Foster as part of 20/20 Photo Festival, and hear from the artists at 3:00 pm. Make art and crafts, enjoy refreshments, and learn about the artistic and photographic process while celebrating the beginning of fabulous fall. Decorate a picture frame for your photos, build spy glasses for viewing artwork through new lenses, and experiment with abstract torn art inspired by the artists’ works.
1:00-4:00 pm: Family Day crafts and activities ongoing
2:00 pm: 20/20 Photo Festival Reception starts
3:00 pm: Artist Talk with Maria Dumlao and Julianna Foster
4:00 pm: Reception ends; Photography Walk in the Barnes Arboretum
