Labor Day Weekend on the Delaware River Waterfront
Close out Summer 2025 this Labor Day Weekend with fun for the whole family at Spruce Street Harbor Park, Cherry Street Pier, Race Street Pier, and Independence Blue Cross RiverRink SummerFest.
Labor Day is the last chance for visitors to enjoy the boardwalk vibes at Independence Blue Cross RiverRink Summerfest which wraps up its season on Monday, September 1st. From August 29 to September 1, visitors can enjoy a jam-packed holiday weekend along the Delaware River Waterfront—free and open to all ages.
Visitors can:
- Campout at Cherry Street Pier with a cozy and family-friendly event right on the Delaware River with campfire sing-alongs, an outdoor movie night, fun make-and-take crafts (while supplies last), face painting, campfire games, bingo, and more.
- Take a final spin at Independence Blue Cross RiverRink Summerfest before the season ends with skating, mini-golf, and boardwalk eats plus DJ Nights.
- Enjoy family fun as well as live music with events including Jazz Summer Nights, the Summer Sounds Concert Series, and Orchestra 2001 and DJ Night performances at Spruce Street Harbor Park.
- Wellness on the Waterfront with yoga at Race Street Pier, presented by Independence Blue Cross.
