Kids 5-Day Winter Series: Holiday Baking at Sur La Table in KOP

Chefs ages 7-11 can join Sur La Table in King of Prussia for their all-new winter series that will help your child become a more creative and confident cook! Your little chef will enjoy a fun, hands-on baking experience—from mixing batter and kneading pie dough to decorating cookies and much more. Each session explores essential baking techniques, basic food prep skills and best practices for kitchen safety. Plus, every student will go home with a printed menu and graduation certificate.
In these classes, participants will work together with other students (in groups of 4-5), sharing work stations in a fun, hands-on environment led by professional chef instructors. Each day of the week features different recipes and two time-slot options at 10:00 am and 1:00 pm. Classes are 2 hours, unless otherwise noted. Hands-on classes are limited to 16-20 students, depending on location.
Participants will be standing, cooking, and working for most of the class, so please wear comfortable, closed-toe shoes and have long hair tied back.
Sur La Table recipes are developed using common cooking and baking ingredients that may or may not be specified in the menu titles, including various fruits and vegetables, nuts, meats, spices, wheat flours, etc. If you have a food allergy, please check with your local Cooking School before attending the class. Adjustments to recipes cannot be made during class.
