Free Ready-Set-School Community Days at the Please Touch Museum
June 29 @ 9:00 am - 4:30 pm
The fourth annual Ready-Set-School program will welcome families to the Please Touch Museum for free admission on June 29, July 27, and August 24. These special Community Days will offer themed programming focused on health, wellness, and social-emotional skill building. Community partners will be onsite at the Museum to provide resources to further prepare children for the start of school.
Details for the various dates are as follows:
June 29, 2025:
- Vetri’s Mobile Teaching Kitchen: families and children can learn about healthy eating habits, perfect for getting ready for the school year!
- Mister Boom Boom Performances: enjoy fun, interactive music sessions in the Playhouse Theatre.
- Storytime: head to the Book Nook for an interactive storytime.
July 27, 2025:
- Vetri’s Mobile Teaching Kitchen: families and children can learn about healthy eating habits, perfect for getting ready for the school year!
- Philly Children’s Theatre: enjoy a fun, engaging performance in the Playhouse Theatre that highlights character and social-emotional development.
- Storytime: head to the Book Nook for an interactive storytime.
August 24, 2025:
