Join PA Master Naturalist Dave Charlton for a fun and easy hike on the trails outside Tyler’s deer fence. Explore the outdoors, discover cool plants and animals, and see how nature changes with the seasons. Perfect for little explorers, these walks are filled with surprises and are a great way to learn about the world around you. Bring the whole family and embark on an exciting nature adventure together!

As the days get shorter, fall flowers begin to bloom in the forest and meadows. Wildlife is busy preparing for the cold months ahead, and many birds begin to migrate to warmer climates.

Pre-registration REQUIRED. This program is best suited for elementary school children accompanied by adults; however, families and siblings of all ages are welcome.

Check in at the Visitor Center, where you’ll meet your guide. As with any walk on the Tyler trails, sturdy shoes are suggested. Participants should bring water and, if desired, a walking stick.
