Family Explorers: Hop, Slither, and Splash at Tyler Arboretum
Explore the fascinating world of reptiles and amphibians with Tyler Arboretum! Get up close with live snakes, frogs, and turtles while examining interesting artifacts that reveal their secret lives. Following this presentation by a park ranger, participants will take a short walk to Tyler’s waterways to search for these amazing creatures in their natural habitat.
This family program is ideal for elementary school-aged children, though siblings of any age are welcome. All children must be accompanied by an adult. Please check in at the Visitor Center to meet your guide. Sturdy shoes and bug spray are recommended. In case of inclement weather, the program will move indoors with an alternative topic.
Pre-registration is required. This program is free for Members; Non-members are $18 per adult and $10 per child (ages 3-17). Children under 2 are free (no registration needed).
