Chester County Earth Day Festival at the Upper Main Line YMCA

Go green this Earth Day at the Upper Main Line YMCA during the 2025 Chester County Earth Day Festival, which is free and open to the public. Visitors can enjoy a variety of earth-friendly activities throughout the day, including an opportunity to help plant over 60 native trees and shrubs to enhance UMLY’s Cassatt Preserve (BYO-shovel) and to explore interactive exhibits and presentations. Families can visit the Cassatt Preserve, home to woodlands, wetlands, meadows and ponds, and stop in to greet the resident animals in the Nature Center, Raptor Center, and Barnyard. There will be opportunities for environmental education activities, such a bird and bat house building and stream study, while face painting and live music will add to the Festival atmosphere.
Special guests include the Lenape Nation of Pennsylvania and renowned author Doug Tallamy who will present on “Homegrown National Parks” at 1:30 pm – register now!
