Butterfly Festival 2023

Join Colonial Gardens for their annual Butterfly Festival! Centered around the release of 500 monarch and other native butterflies, this event is a great way to learn more about these incredible backyard animals, explore local crafters, and spend a day with friends and family. Stroll through our beautiful gardens, shop with local vendors, and learn how to be involved in your local community with non-profits. Hayrides will run from 10 am to 4 pm for $5 a person. Their gardens also feature an herbal labyrinth, Fairy Garden, Wizard of Oz set, and much more.

Butterfly release times will be 10 am, 12 pm, 2 pm, 4 pm and an educational seminar will occur 30 minutes prior to each release in our Barn Ruins.
