- Games and Prizes: Get ready for friendly competition and exciting games that highlight significant moments in Black History. Fantastic prizes await those who showcase their knowledge and skills!
- “Create Your Own Video”: It’s your turn to represent “Black Hollywood” and win a prize. Showcase your talent in song, dance, poetry, acting, or etc. You have 30 seconds. Who will you be? Some suggestions: Michael Jackson, Oprah, 50 Cent, Whitney Houston, just to name a few.
- Button Making: Express your support and admiration for Black Hollywood by crafting custom buttons featuring Black professionals in the entertainment industry that have contributed to the spirit of Black History Month. Wear your creations proudly!
- Photobooth: Capture the joy of the moment in our specially curated photobooth, designed to create a memory that will last a life-time as you celebrate the achievements of Black trailblazers.
Registration required. Parents are welcome but please register only your children who are in elementary and middle school.
Every attendee will receive a complimentary raffle ticket for a chance to win our Black history-themed basket, filled with art, history, culture, and music. The drawing will be held on Tuesday, February 25th at the end of Rel Dowdell’s presentation.
