Being _ _ _ at Christmas 2022 – Annual Day of Family Fun
December 25, 2024 @ 10:00 am - 3:00 pm
Fill in your own blank and join the Weitzman for their annual day of family fun. From top to bottom, the Museum will be jam-packed with performances and activities for members and visitors of all ages.
Start with exciting live performances and interactive activities, including
- Adoughma (Ah-DOUGH-mah) dough play; sensory-friendly play dough fun (all ages) with Erin Beser,
- world percussion workshop led by Joseph Tayoun,
- an exciting self-paced scavenger hunt awaits kids of all ages,
- interactive concert with Lolly Hopwood.
Don’t miss make-and-take crafts, including winter-themed foam sticker picture frames, paper lanterns, paper crowns, and coloring sheets; story time; and a sensory-friendly play zone with a foam floor, blocks, and puzzles.
The fun doesn’t stop there: enjoy classic winter movies – Frozen and Shrek – throughout the day in their Dell Theater, and explore the Museum’s core exhibition, checking out all of the excitement across five floors.
