AI Deepfakes and Our Kids: What Every Parent Needs to Know
Please join in-person on Thursday, May 7th for a 90 minute event that will consist of short presentations from experts, followed by moderated discussions amongst panelists on four key topics. Panelists will include Governor Josh Shapiro’s Office, Attorney General Dave Sunday, victims from Lancaster Country Day School, victims from Radnor High School, and experts in the fields of law, mental health, digital safety, and cybersecurity.
The topics covered will include:
Understanding AI Deepfakes: what are they and how are kids using them,
Psychological and Trauma Impact: what this does to victims,
Legal and School Responsibilities: what are the laws in PA and how should schools respond,
Prevention and Protection: what can parents and policy-makers do now to protect our kids.
