A Saturday with Santa in Wayne!
Downtown Wayne brings all the holiday magic on Saturday, December 6th with a festive 5k, a joyful parade, and a personal visit with Santa Claus himself.
8:00 am: Radnor Memorial Library’s “Elves for Shelves” 5k & Fun Walk. Start your morning with a dash of holiday spirit! Lace up your running shoes for this festive 5k run and fun walk that winds through the beautiful streets of Wayne.
10:00 am: Annual Wayne Santa Parade. Find your favorite spot along East Lancaster Avenue as the joyful sounds of the Radnor High School Marching Band announce the start of our beloved Santa Parade. Watch for Santa Claus himself, waving to all from his bright red Radnor fire truck.
Parade Route: The parade travels west down East Lancaster Avenue, starting at Aberdeen Avenue and concluding at North Wayne Avenue.
Immediately following the parade until 11:45 am: meet Santa with photos, Cookies & Hot Chocolate Time. The magic continues right after the parade as Santa will be waiting to greet children in the lovely courtyard of Wayne Presbyterian Church. This is a wonderful opportunity for a free, personal visit, so be sure to bring your camera or smartphone to capture the perfect holiday photo! To make the moment even sweeter, they will be serving complimentary hot chocolate and cookies to warm you up.
