Darby Creek Tubing Adventure

August 7 @ 10:30 am - 1:30 pm

Drift along the water, enjoy nature, and soak up the sunshine while making lasting summer memories with your family. Enjoy a relaxing, local twist on a lazy river with the Darby Creek Tubing Adventure! Guests bring their own tube and follow guides along Darby Creek.

Float from Darby Creek Road to Merry Place and enjoy lunch at the park!

Recommended for ages 6+
Participants under 14 require a registered adult.
 
Individual Fee:$15 per person
 
Creek conditions: Calm and meandering creek through the shade of the woods. some lower sections required you to walk while deeper sections provide an opportunity for a refreshing plunge.
Depth: Depth varies from 5 inches to 10 feet averaging a few feet deep along your trip.
 
General Overview :
10:15am: Park at Merry Place and Check-In with the Coordinator
10:30am: Group 1 Boards the Bus
10:55am: Group 2 Boards the Bus
10:45am: Bus Drops off at Darby Creek Rd
10:45am: Float along Darby Creek (About 2-2.5 hours)
1-1:15pm: Two Exit points: Bus Yard or Swimming Hole
  • If guests would like to exit the creek early, they can get out at the Bus Yard and walk along the Darby Creek Trail (1mile) to Merry Place.
1-1:15pm: Make your way to Merry Place
Depart and Enjoy the day or stay to eat lunch!
 
Darby Creek is a Natural Waterway: There are rocks and trees along the way. You will likely come into contact with some wildlife; fish, deer, turtles, birds and more are out there. As well as squishy mud on the bottom. Enjoy the sights and remember respect the wildlife and the wildlife will respect you.
