Lammas Day at Colonial Pennsylvania Farmstead
Kick off the harvest season with Lammas Day! Rooted in centuries-old traditions, Lammas (or “Loaf Mass”) marked the gathering of the grain and the baking of the first bread from the new crop. Join us for a day of hands-on farming activities to thresh, winnow, and grind the site’s heritage grains and explore the vital role of grain in 18th-century Pennsylvania through bread baking in the farmhouse kitchen.
Last admission will be at 3:00 pm. Tickets are $14 for Adults, $10 for Children, and $7 for Members.
