“On the Wings of Freedom” Special Exhibit Unveiling at the American Helicopter Museum
In honor of Juneteenth, join the American Helicopter Museum for the unveiling of a permanent special exhibit, On the Wings of Freedom: Black Leaders in Aviation.
This special exhibit features and celebrates the stories of prominent Black mechanics, pilots, and engineers in American aviation with connections to aircraft in the museum’s collection. In honor of this unveiling, representatives from the Greater Philadelphia Chapter Tuskegee Airmen will attend in the morning, along with other local community organizations and pilots. Don’t miss out on this opportunity to meet and learn about giants in the aviation field!
