Black History – The Red Carpet & The Marketplace
Come dressed as a Black Hollywood star! Rolling out the red carpet with costume contest, scavenger hunt, games, and prizes — all free. Have fun learning about the African American contributions to Hollywood that led us to today. Enjoy a diverse array of products, services, and food from Black-owned businesses. From exquisite crafts to unique goods, these vendors bring a rich tapestry of offerings. Join the celebration!
Every attendee will receive a complimentary raffle ticket for a chance to win their Black history-themed basket, filled with art, history, culture, and music. The drawing will be held on Tuesday, February 25th at the end of Rel Dowdell’s presentation.
