“I enthusiastically recommend Brynn Ciccipio for the prestigious Women of Influence award. Brynn’s dedication to making a positive impact in our community is truly remarkable. As the driving force behind the fall clothing drive hosted by BCA every year, she has consistently shown her compassion and commitment to helping those in need. Colleague

Brynn Cicippio is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with an advanced certification as an alcohol and drug counselor. She has over ten years of clinical experience working with individuals and families impacted by addiction. Brynn Cicippio has been the owner of BCA Therapy, a private practice with two locations, one in Yardley and the other in Wayne, since January 2012.  When working with clients, Brynn places high value on the relationships that impact a person’s life. She understands the unfortunate long term consequences of unhealthy and addicted relationships… and she has witnessed healing time and time again.  Brynn has a Master’s degree in Clinical Counseling Psychology from LaSalle University. She is an AAMFT Approved Supervisor for other therapists seeking licensure status. In addition to private practice, Brynn was an adjunct professor in LaSalle University’s Counseling and Family Therapy program from 2013 to 2019.

Hard Work and Giving Back

Brynn’s professional life grew alongside her personal life. During the early years of her practice, Brynn was married, pregnant, serving as a stepmother, all while building her practice, working full time and teaching grad school in the evenings – and equally committed to all of it. Brynn believes this serves as a reminder of the determination and grit of women, particularly working mothers. In addition to her practice, Brynn positively contributes to her community by organizing a clothing drive for women in recovery every fall, known as Devon’s Closet. “ My goal was to give back to our community in a direct way, and for no one in the depths of addiction to ever feel alone or forgotten,” says Brynn. Brynn and her employees/volunteers collect, sort, and donate all items to local recovery houses and grass roots organizations that directly serve women in recovery.

Point of Pride

The growth of her practice, BCA Therapy, is something Brynn is incredibly proud of. In 10 years, BCA Therapy has grown from a business of one to a group practice with 13 clinicians, three interns, two physical locations, one client care coordinator, and one digital marketing manager.  “I absolutely love our team and love the work we do to support our community,” she says.   Brynn is also honored to receive this prestigious award.    “I really appreciate being nominated and considered. There are so many incredible women right here on the main line, including many other wonderful and skilled therapists. Being a therapist is a vocation. To sit in front of someone and witness their pain, validate their challenges, and support their healing, is really a gift to me. I don’t consider myself “going to work.” I really love what I do and feel so thankful for the trust our clients place in myself and our therapists,” she said.
