DESCRIPTION:The Washington Memorial Veterans Commission invites you to a heartfelt service and reception at the Washington Memorial Chapel to honor and celebrate all veterans for their courage\, dedication\, and sacrifice. The Choral Matins Service will pay tribute to veterans from all wars\, with the Carillon Bells tolling in remembrance at 11:00 AM. Following the service\, guests are welcome to a reception to honor and connect with veterans. This event is free and open to all\, with a suggested donation of $10 appreciated.

SUMMARY:Washington Memorial Chapel Veterans Commission Patriot Day PT Challenge
DESCRIPTION:The Washington Memorial Chapel Veterans Commission will host a Patriot Day 9/11 PT Challenge on the Washington Memorial Chapel grounds in Valley Forge in honor of local fallen hero Staff Sergeant Marc Small and all Veterans of the Global War on Terror. \nThe event\, which will combine physical fitness with remembrance\, will give participants (ages 16+) the opportunity to honor the courage\, sacrifice\, and legacy of America’s service members. \nThe three-round challenge will allow contestants to sweat with purpose by attempting the following (three rounds each): \n\nRow 1\,000 meters\n50 Burpees\n50 Box Jumps\nRun 800 meters\n\nUnite in remembrance\, challenge yourself\, and sweat for something bigger than yourself. \nRegistration is $15 per person. For questions\, contact: VeteransCommission@WMChapel.org
