DESCRIPTION:Sixth grade girls nominated by their teachers are invited to join PAGES\, Philadelphia Area Girls Exploring Science\, for a Mini-Conference at Villanova University with Keynote Speaker Cori Dorfmeier\, Director of Sample Management at Merck. \nThe agenda for the day is: \n9:00 AM: Registration and Refreshments \n9:30 AM: Keynote: Cori Dorfmeier – Director of Sample Management\, Merck \n10:20 AM: Laboratory Session 1* \n11:10 AM: Laboratory Session 2* \n11:55 AM: Laboratory Session 3* \n12:40 PM: Lunch \n1:30 PM: Conclusion \n*Laboratory sessions represent a small group hands-on activity led by female scientists. \nPlease note that teachers must register student(s) for the PAGES mini-conference. Parents are not allowed to sign their children up.
