SUMMARY:Big Teen Art Week: Photography
DESCRIPTION:Teens in grades 5-12 can explore their abilities as photographers during this fun and interactive program hosted by award-winning local photographer\, Dan Barends! Together you will learn about composition\, light\, and how to shoot a great photo anywhere. Teens will be given their own disposable film camera to use for the afternoon; after the program is over our friends at Indie Photo Philadelphia will develop the film\, and together we will return for a follow-up class to see our photos! \nThis project is made possible by Library Services and Technology Act (LSTA) Funds from the U.S. Institute of Museum and Library Services administered by the Pennsylvania Department of Education\, Office of Commonwealth Libraries with additional support from the National Endowment for the Humanities\, individual donors and other funders. \nFor teens in grades 5-12 \nRegistration is required.
