The oohs and ahhs heard at the lighting of a Christmas tree are sounds you only hear once a year, unless you attend every tree lighting on this list and then you can hear the excitement about ten times! Tag your pics on Instagram with #mainlineparent, we’d love to share them.

November 20, 5 pm
100 Sesame Road, Langhorne
Santa illuminates the night for the first time this year to help kick-off Sesame Place’s “A Very Furry Christmas” holiday celebration! After some holly jolly singing and dancing with Santa’s trusty elves and everyone’s favorite Sesame Street friends, Santa will arrive on a horse-drawn carriage to light up the night with millions of twinkling lights!

December 3, 5:30 – 7:30 pm
145 North Wayne Avenue, Wayne
Family fun takes place up and down Wayne Avenue from the Train Station to the Fire Department. Festive caroling, horse drawn carriage rides, ornament decorating, and more make for a super family fun night. The magical evening is topped off by the lighting of the Christmas tree at the Wayne Train Station. Many stores will have extended shopping hours.

Burke Park, Malvern
Malvern’s tree lighting boasts a celebrity host, hot chocolate, and caroling! There is a whole season’s worth of Holiday Events sponsored by the Malvern Business Association so don’t miss their full lineup!
December 4, 6 – 8 pm
Wilson Farm Park, Wayne
Tredyffrin Township presents their first annual Holiday Lighting Celebration at Wilson Farm Park. Lighting begins at 6:15 pm with a special guest to “flip the switch”. There will be complimentary hot beverages and sweet treats!
December 3, 6 – 8 pm
Main and Bridge streets, Phoenixville
The Phoenixville Tree Lighting will take place at their monthly First Friday event!
December 5, 5 pm
1044 Black Rock Road, Gladwyne
This will be a Christmas Tree and Menorah Lighting Ceremony! Bring the family, decorate the tree with homemade ornaments, and help ring in the holiday season with your neighbors!
