The Snowy Day and Other Stories By Ezra Jack Keats

The Arden Theatre Company is excited to share with you a brand new, filmed version of The Snowy Day and Other Stories, By Ezra Jack Keats, available via streaming, January 17-30, 2022. This filmed theatrical play was recorded in the Hamilton Family Arts Center and presents exciting performances from an all-Philadelphia cast, a set made using a little cardboard and a lot of creativity, and features original music from the popular local band, Ill Doots. One day, her concert is interrupted by a monstrous creature chased by vigilantes. As their hunt escalates, Suzu embarks on an emotional and epic quest to uncover the identity of this mysterious “beast” and to discover her true self in a world where you can be anyone.
Friday Night Skate at Ringing Rocks Roller Rink

Ringing Rocks Roller Rink, 1500 Ringing Rocks Park, Pottstown
Ringing Rocks Roller Rink, a community roller rink in the Pottstown area since 1938, hosts public roller skating on Friday nights for all ages. All children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult. Masks are not required for those that are fully vaccinated. Admission is $10 and includes rental skates.

Jurassic Quest

Jurassic Quest is North America’s largest and most realistic Dinosaur event. Guests walk through the Cretaceous, Jurassic and Triassic Periods and experience for themselves what it was like to be among dinosaurs of all kinds. Jurassic Quest is the only interactive dinosaur event that has over 100 true to life-size animatronic dinosaurs in each of its indoor touring shows from the very small to the gigantic. In collaboration with leading paleontologists, each dinosaur has been painstakingly replicated in every detail. Whether their prehistoric counterpart had skin that was scaly, had feathers or fur, Jurassic Quest has spared no expense in bringing the dinosaurs to life. Jurassic Quest exhibits also allow future paleontologists to dig up fossils, ride their favorite life-sized dinosaur, enjoy walking dinosaur and baby dinosaur shows, and enjoy a dinosaur themed play land in addition to face painting, crafts and much more.
Elmo’s Furry Fun Fest

On weekends from January 8th through March 20th, join Elmo for birthday parties galore as he celebrates his favorite furry friends! Flight on Ice! Outdoor Skating & Entertainment Center

Flight on Ice is an outdoor ice skating rink and entertainment center in Delaware County. New this year, you can expect fun for the whole family including ice skating sessions, a lounge area, a heated tent, and great food and beverages.
Goat Hiking at Four Mills Nature Reserve

Four Mills Nature Reserve 12 Morris Road, Ambler
Like hiking? Love goats? You are in luck! Four Mills Nature Reserve is taking their adorable, rescued goats on a 30-minute hike and you can be there. Meet volunteers and staff at Four Mills Nature Reserve who will be ready with Hope, Faith, Harry, Caramel, Zippidity, Hoot, and Peppe (their awesome goats). They will introduce you and then you will be off! The number of hikers is limited to 14 people, so everyone has a chance to walk a goat! Ice Skating at Philadelphia Skating Club and Humane Society

Philadelphia Skating Club and Humane Society 220 Holland Avenue, Ardmore
Join PSCHS for weekly Sunday afternoon family skating in their beautiful ice rink. It’s a great indoor activity on cold winter days. Skate with friends and family or sit back and relax with a cup of hot chocolate from the snack bar. $10 admission and $5 ice skate rental. Non members may skate as a guest up to four times during the winter period (October 18 – April 10, 2022).
