Shop local this holiday season at these craft shows, holiday markets, bazaars and more!

Gifts made by hand—even if they aren’t your own hands—make people feel special. We’ve rounded up the local places you can go to do your holiday shopping this year and support local crafters, makers, artisans, and more. Whether it’s a craft show, a holiday market, a bazaar or anything else you’d like to call it, these spots are ready to knock your hand-knitted socks off with their creations! Once you’re done shopping, help these makers out by sharing pics of your scores on social media—and use #mainlineparent so we can promote them, too.

Black Holiday Pop Up Shop

The Enterprise Center 26 S. 52nd Street, Philadelphia

The Enterprise Center Community Development Corporation (TEC-CDC) is bringing some holiday cheer to West Philadelphia in a big way via their Black Holiday Pop-Up. This one-stop, pop-up shop at 26 S. 52nd St. features over 30 Black vendors with products ranging from art, jewelry, clothing to home décor, books, accessories, and more—perfect for holiday shopping and for treating yourself!

Christmas Village in Philadelphia

Nov. 19 through Dec. 24, 11 am–7 pm daily
Love Park 1501 John F Kennedy Blvd, Philadelphia

Christmas Village in Philadelphia is an open-air holiday market event in at LOVE Park and City Hall in Philadelphia, which is modeled after the traditional Christmas Markets in Germany. Vendors in wooden booths will set up shop during the holiday season to sell a wide variety of international holiday gifts, ornaments, jewelry and high-quality arts and crafts, as well as traditional European food, sweets, and drinks. The unique atmosphere with thousands of lights and the delicious smell of waffles, gingerbread, bratwurst and mulled wine will bring you and your family into the perfect Christmas spirit.

Christkindlmarkt

Dec. 2nd, 4–8 pm & Dec. 3rd, 10 am–5 pm
Chester County Art Association, 100 North Bradford Avenue, West Chester

The Chester County Art Association is excited to host its 3rd Annual Christkindlmarkt! This holiday market will feature more than 40 stall holders offering individually handcrafted and locally designed products including art, ceramics, jewelry, homewares, food and much more. The event is free to the public.

Delco Holiday Village

Dec. 2/3, 9/10, and 16/17, 2022 from 5:30–8 pm
Rose Tree Park,

The Delco Holiday Village is back this December on the following Friday and Saturday nights: Dec. 2/3, 9/10, and 16/17. Set amid the sparkling lights of Rose Tree Park’s annual Festival of Lights, the Delco Holiday Village features a changing line-up of local vendors and food trucks. Come shop and stroll the winter wonderland and linger in the festive atmosphere.

Life’s Patina – Christmas Open House

December 2nd & 3rd, 10 am–4 pm
Willowbrook Farm, 1750 North Valley Road, Malvern

Life’s Patina is offering their latest fabulous vintage and new home accessories, decor, furniture, gift items, and architectural salvage at their Christmas Open House. Head on over to peruse all of the artfully curated finds while taking in the magic of the holidays at Life’s Patina.

Chestnutwold Elementary’s Annual Holiday Market

December 3rd, 10 am–3 pm
630 Loraine Street, Ardmore

Get into the holiday spirit and support local artisans and small businesses. Join us in this fun community event filled with shopping and fun for everyone, including a community bake sale, spirit wear table, and student crafters.

Kimberton Craft Market

December 3rd, 10 am–3 pm

Join Kimberton Whole Foods and Camphill Village Kimberton Hills for the final outdoor craft market of 2002. A community of makers will gather across the street from Kimberton Whole Foods to feature their locally-made textiles, pottery, woodworking, mosaics, and more!

Holiday Village

December 3rd, from 12 pm–3pm
Upper Merion Township Community Center, 431 West Valley Forge Road, King of Prussia

The Holiday Village is free to the public and family-friendly! The event will include craft vendors, face painting, a gingerbread house display and contest, live performances, s’mores by a fire, a caricaturist, food vendors, a beer garden provided by Workhorse Brewing, a visit from a special guest (hint: they love cookies and milk) and much more! This will be a great event for holiday shopping and celebrations! Find the Village behind the Township building in the lower level parking lot.

Kennett Square Holiday Village Market

Saturday and Sunday, Dec. 3–4, & 10–11, from 11 am–5pm
The Creamery, 401 Birch Street, Kennett Square

For the first two weekends in December every year, the Kennett Square Holiday Village Market brings the Christkindlmarkt experience to Southern Chester County. Dozens of artisan and vintage vendors are at the heart of the event, each stall a tiny feast of beautiful and unique handcrafted items that promise to delight the recipient and bring a sprinkling of this magic home. Shop dozens of curated artisan and vintage vendors while enjoying live music, festive cocktails, food trucks, fire pits, Santa Claus and more in the magical setting of The Creamery. Patrons are encouraged to park in the FREE municipal parking garage in downtown Kennett Square and take the FREE shuttle to and from the market! Shuttle will be running from 11–5 pm between 100 S. Broad Street and 401 Birch Street.

CraftForms Holiday Shopping Weekend

Wayne Art Center, 413 Maplewood Avenue, Wayne

Shop 30+ local craft and culinary artisans selling jewelry, apparel and accessories, gift-ables, ceramics, culinary delights and more! Plus the Wayne Art Center’s Gallery Shop features more than 100 artists who create jewelry, apparel & accessories, home décor in wood, glass, textiles and wax, as well as unique gifts, cards and books.

German Christmas Market at Franklin Commons

December 17th, 12–7 pm
Franklin Commons, 400 Franklin Avenue, Phoenixville

Experience the magic of a German Christmas Market (“Weihnachtsmarkt”) hosted by MainLineFreunde at Franklin Commons. As you browse the market, traditional Christmas music and the smell of mouth-watering treats will help you forget the hectic pace of modern life and help you remember what this festive time of year should really be all about.

Handmade Holiday at Align.Space

December 18th, 10 am–4pm

In need of any last-minute holiday gifts? Visit the align.Space for West Chester’s Handmade Holiday featuring the arts and crafts of 12 local artists. Peruse beautiful gifts for your loved ones, enjoy special holiday treats, and visit with their “special guest.” Make a day of it and bring the kids!
