LEGOLAND Discovery Center’s Brick or Treat

September 28–October 31

LEGO lovers unite for a scavenger hunt, a life-size hayride in the LEGO pumpkin patch, four-foot-tall LEGO witches and cauldrons, giveaways, and more.  Plus, kids can come dressed in their Halloween best to pose for pictures with larger-than-life LEGO models and LEGO costume props!

Pumpkinland and Haunted Gardens at Colonial Gardens

September 28—October 31

Enjoy family-friendly fall fun through October. Activities include hayrides, corn maze, and a Halloween funhouse. Plus, Pumpkinland—a Halloween display of colorful cartoon characters, scarecrows, hay hutch, and over ten tons of pumpkins—is always a hit!

Greek Food Festival

Harvest Fest at Elmwood Park Zoo

The Count’s Halloween Spooktacular

Come in costume and enjoy special Halloween-themed shows; soar, swing, fly, and cruise on three Count von Count themed mechanical rides, and see everyone’s favorite furry friends dressed up in costume. Harriton Farmstead Fair

September 28, 10 am – 4 pm

500 Harriton Road, Bryn Mawr

 

This major event in Lower Merion Township features crafts, antiques, sheep herding, pony rides, historic house tours, children’s games, muskets and soldiers, blacksmiths, stone carvers, cabinetmakers, spinners, skep [beehive] weavers, Bluegrass music, falconry and other birds of prey, and much more.  The Fair also features the Harriton Attic Treasures Booth, which is the best flea market on the Main Line, the Harriton Farm stand featuring flowers and organic produce (some of which is from the Harriton garden). All of these activities and your contributions help to assure Harriton’s continued operation as an historic site.

‘May the Forks Be With You’ Breakfast

Delaware County Symphony Instrument Petting Zoo at Marple Library

September 28, 11 am—noon

2599 Sproul Rd., Broomall

 

Seven classically trained musicians will explain and demonstrate to the children how their specific instruments individually sound and are uniquely used in classical music to make a full symphonic sound. The program will conclude with an ensemble performance so the children may hear the sounds of the instruments performing together. The program is free and open to the public.

Paoli Blues Fest
